When I try to log in to scan to family search, the printer just responds "authenticating" for about a minute, then it returns to the home screen.

    @whitnikayhess1

    FYI

    I am just another User/Patron ...

[ And, one who has worked in "Family History Centres" of the Church for a number of years ... ]

    As an aside ...

In our Local "Family History Centre", here "Downunder" (Australia) ...

We have NOT been able to use the our "Printer", to Scan; and, "Upload" Directly into 'FamilySearch' for a number of years now.

A while ago, one of the "High Counselors", of our Stake, was advised that there was NO LONGER any "Contractual Agreement/Arrangement" between, the "Printer" Company; and, the Church.

Hence, NO LONGER any ability to use the "Printer", to Scan; and, "Upload" Directly into 'FamilySearch' .

Maybe, things are different, over in North America.

It would be great to know, if there STILL was, the ability to use the "Printer", to Scan; and, "Upload" Directly into 'FamilySearch'.

It will be interesting to 'see' any 'Answers'/"Comments' to this 'Question'/'Post' of yours.

Would you please review the steps in the Help Center Article

Scan to FamilySearch application troubleshooting for Lexmark multifunction printers

One issue is that the printer time has to be set correctly.

A USB keyboard can be connected and used. The USB keyboard connector is on the rear of the printer near the power and network cable connections.

    [updated]

Don't hesitate to contact your stake Technology Specialists about the issue with your center network cabling to the correct port on the new Meraki switch.

Scan to FamilySearch will not work until the Meraki switch issue is resolved.

Note: the computers may have Internet access but are not connecting to the correct servers. The center computers may not print to the Lexmark printer until the Meraki switch issue is resolved.
