Searching Records Issues for Puerto Rico

For two weeks now searching records for Puerto Rico is almost impossible. When going to RECORDS and you type a name and in Birth Place you type PUERTO RICO it returns zero results. If you leave BIRTH PLACE blank it returns results from all over the Caribbean Islands and USA. I do not need to search Mexico, Peru, Venezuela etc etc. I only want Puerto Rico. Can someone please fix this issue.

You can go to the Puerto Rico research page, and Search there, where the databases are all in respect of Puerto Rico

I tried searching both ways - both from the main search interface and from the Puerto Rico page. Same results from both. Both worked as expected.

Perhaps the problem has been fixed, or perhaps there was a short-term glitch.

@Carol Dunkleberger Try your searches again for Puerto Rico. We reported the problem to engineers and they say they fixed it. If the problem persists, please report it. To be sure that moderators see it who can move it up the chain to engineers, please post this way:

    1. After you sign in to Community, on the left side, click Q and A.
    2. Click Search.
    3. Click Ask a Question.
    4. When you post your question, it will help if you provide very specific steps to be able to replicate your experience.
