@Caleb L

Under certain circumstances, we need to generate ordinance cards for patrons and send them to them. We used to send these via email, and the most logical option would now seem to be to send them via a private message in Community. However, The generated files are PDFs, and Community currently won't allow us to attach files with a PDF extension to comments or private messages.

Can PDFs be added to the accepted file options?

    Please add Wyler, Uri, Switzerland to your place name file. See attached for documentation on this little village. I have an ancestral family with 9 children that lived in Wyler. When I try to add them into family tree Wyler, Uri is nor available as a place name.

    Albin Dittli,

    I see your question above about adding Wyler, Uri, Uri Switzerland to the standard places list but it has nothing to do with the question above it about "Why does Community not allow users to upload PDF files."

    If you want to start a new question, please go to the left side of the Community and click Q&A. Then choose your category such as "Family Tree." Then click "Ask a Question" to start a new question.

    Thank you.

    You may also be able to delete your own "answer" above by clicking the little gear to the right of your question and then click "delete."
