I have a birth record but the drop down window doesn't have a birth option what do I do?

I have a birth record but the drop down window doesn't have a birth option what do I do.

    What project are you working on? Can you share your batch? To do that, click on the third icon from the right and follow the instructions. Or, simply type the Batch Code as a comment in this thread. The batch code is the series of numbers and letters in brackets next to the title.

    I am having the same trouble and the project instructions clearly state to index birth records. Here is the batch code MS2R-JNX any help would be great. Thank you!

    I would choose Baptism as the record type. That includes fields for the birth date. (You would blank the fields for baptism dates. )

    We are instructed to index birth records, but they didn't spell out that the only way to do this is choose Baptism as the record type.

    The Project Instructions say: "Index the following types of records: baptism, birth, marriage, burial, and death records, regardless of the county the records may be from."
