Hi Understand you want to remove a photo connected to your grandfather. Photos get placed on a person page by means of a tag. Any user can remove a photo or any memory from a person page. Go to your grandfather's page, select memories, click on the photo you want to remove. On the top right side of the page that comes up will be a list of people to whom the photo is tagged. Click on the down arrow to the right of person you want to remove the photo from. Select either Detach from Family Tree or delete tag depending on whether or not you created the tag. That's it.

Here are more detailed instructions and doing it from the memories gallery.
