Richard Whip g7ws7f8 is the son of Richard Whip g96n7ws and Clara van Dyke kncv1gy. Clara is entered twice. Their son is entered with Clara only and should be entered with both parents. How do I solve this? n.a.cobb@live.com

Step one: Add Richard Whip (the son) G7WS-7F8 as the child of Richard Whip and Clara Van Dyke (top of page). Step two: Remove Richard Whip (the son of Clara Van Dyke and no spouse) by clicking on the pencil icon to the right of his name. Click remove or replace. Check the box in the lower left corner, give a reason statement (possible: duplicate child) and then click remove. Now Richard Whip (the son) will be listed with his parents and the duplicate Clara Van Dyke (with no spouse) will not show. Hope this helps.

This is a relatively simple problem to solve. In the relationship where Richard Whip (G7WS-7F8) is listed as the son of Clara Van Dyke (KNCV-1GY) without a father, select the Add Spouse. Then towards the top of the pop-up window, select By ID Number. Enter the ID for Richard Whip (G96N-7WS) and select Next. Then select Add Match.
