HELP! Need option to provide accurate standardized place names not currently in your system
In "New Volunteer Opportunity Help fix place-names. Even a few minutes will make a difference."
There are many places that are accurate, but the system doesn't recognize it at standard. So the only options we are lieft with is to Skip or to choose an incorrect or less-accurate place name.
We need clearer, easier, quicker options to accurately enter more standardized places please.
Or, an option to say that this is accurate. Can you team up with Google maps, or some other database that has so much of this info already readily available??
Thanks

I totally agree as I am having the same problem. There must be an area in the site where this is easily remedied but it would be great if we had the option to add more accurate information to the Family Search Standardized Place-Name Recognition Database from here😀

Visit the FamilySearch Places group here in the FamilySearch Community to have any places added or corrected: https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/68-familysearch-places

The issue I have still having is on the old version, the "New Volunteer Opportunity
Help fix place-names. Even a few minutes will make a difference" page was easily found, but not so easy on the new version of FamilySearch home page. On the new version home page, you have to find "volunteer" on the bottom of the page, then choose "Improve FamilySearch Place-Names". Might not be easy for those who are new to FamilySearch.
