Allow to search individuals with double surnames

Most Latin American countries use double surnames. However, when looking for an ancestor in that manner, the result is always 0. There are other instances where there are double surnames, such as in Italy, where families add another surname based on a characteristic of the family or other consideration, which is a great help.

Ancestry allows for this, and it's a great tool.

What happens if you put one surname in the main surname field, and the other in the alternate surname field? (Asking because I have no experience searching in places with double surnames.)

there are various factors that come into play

but I just did a double surname search - and it seemed to work just fine for the one search I did of

    ALVAREZ-DAZA
