Filter results by race?
When searching records is there any way to filter results so that only people of a certain race show up?
I swear when I first started on my phone days ago there was an option, but now that I'm doing it on my computer there isn't. Maybe it was never there and I dreamed it or was actually doing it on a different site..
Would be very very useful, especially as I go farther and farther back in years... trying to put together a family tree, but the side of the family I'm working on is Black.

If you go to the Search tab and click on Records, you will find a page with a World Map. Below the search box, click Browse all published collections. That will take you to a section where you will see all records available on FamilySearch. On the left there is a Filter by Collection. You can filter by Place, Date, and Collection type. Under Collection type click on Ethnicity. That will take you to several sets of records including Freedmen's Bureau Records. Hopefully that will help with your search.
Also, if you filter by state, you can browse through and find records that can indirectly lead to records of African American race. Hopefully this will help you.
