There are a number of members of "Community" who are reporting similar issues.
Fortunately, one moderator has explained how this problem is happening. Apparently, you should be notified of the reason - by the moderator who closed the post - but some moderators are not following the correct procedure, so this is not always happening.
Hopefully, a senior manager is addressing the issue - logically, by sending an email to all moderators reminding them of the correct procedure to follow in such cases. This should address the frustration of those who are currently completely baffled as to why they are not able to see comments that might (or might not) have been added by other members.
