@reykjavik . We are sorry that you are having difficulty finding the Orange County (Va.) families, that is indicated in the Catalog entry for which you kindly provided a link.
The volumes that pertain to Orange County, Virginia families is on the film; however, these films also hold other records, as you have found. Thus, it is important to note the Item numbers that appear with each film number. For example, Volume 1 is found at Item 4 of the associated film. When you click on the camera icon, you are taken to image 1 of Item 1 - so, you will need to scroll through the images until you find Item 4 (which you can find at image 757. For your convenience you can see this image by simply clicking HERE. Then advance to image 761 to see the beginning of Orange County (Va) Families and Their Marriages.
Similarly, Volume 2 starts at Item 2 of Film number 962501; which will be found at image 538, and advancing to image 539 to see the beginning of Orange County Virginia Families, volume II (please click HERE).
Finally, Volumes 3-4 are found at Items 2 & 3 of film 962280. You can click HERE for Volume 3 and click here for Volume 4. We hope that this helps you to find the information that you seek.
When records, such as these, were being filmed; to keep the cost of film down, when a single record did not fill the film, other records would be filmed until the microfilm was full. This helped to conserve film, but now sometimes makes it laborious to find the specific records that we are looking for on a digitized microfilm.

Thanks for your help in this. I have seen other records that have a number of sources in them, just not such completely unrelated sources. Thanks again!
