Subject: So; WHERE, is this, "Temple Section under Ideas"? I DO NOT 'see' ANY such 'Section' or 'Topic', under the "Ideas" Section!
In reference to this post:
Temple Section Under Ideas
https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/88971/moved-temple-section-under-ideas
Obviously, the ORIGINAL post was NOT "Started" by the "Moderator" (ie. @1ByrdLady ); as, I made a "Comment" in the ORIGINAL post, which I believe (it my memory serves me correctly, which it often does not) was ACTUALLY started by the User/Patron, @Sheryl Neal Slaughter .
Here is what CURRENTLY appears for, the aforementioned post, under the "Topic" of, "FamilySearch Community", under the "Ideas" Section, of this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
And, here is what appears, when I try access, either, (1) the ORIGINAL Post, from My "Notifications"; or, (2) that post above:
Now ...
That said ...
Question(s):
[ 1 ]
Is the the "Topic" of, "Temple", under the "Ideas" Section, of this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, (therefore) a RESTRICTED "Topic" ONLY, available to be 'seen' and 'accessed' by 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel) and the like, be-they "Moderators"?
[ 2 ]
Or, Is the the "Topic" of, "Temple", under the "Ideas" Section, of this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, STILL a 'Work in Progress' "Topic", that WILL be available to ALL Users/Patrons (Especially, those who are Members of the Church)?
'Thank You' in advance.
Submitted for your immediate, information; attention; and, consideration.
Kind Regards.
MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU IN THIS IMPORTANT WORK
Yours Faithfully,
Brett

I created the original post in Ideas and now it is completely gone from My Discussions.
I have no clue what is going on. Even if it was moved, why wouldn't My Discussions still show it and point to the new location?

As I have expounded a number of times now ...
The INCLUSION of 'FamilySearch' "Support"; as, a FORCE, into this "Community.Familysearch" Forum, has thrown the "Community.Familysearch" Forum into disarray.
The WHOLESALE, "Moving"; and, "Closing", of 'Questions' in "Q and A"; and, 'Discussions' in "Ideas", is a NIGHTMARE.
Just addressing some of those, 'Questions'; and/or, 'Discussions', that I can still access/view, I notice many 'Answers'/'Responses' from "Moderators", are certainly somewhat 'lacking' (to say the least); in many cases, made an "Accepted Answer" (by the particular "Moderator"); and, then, the 'Question', summarily "Closed"; WHEN, in fact, there could be any number of 'Answers' that MAY Help; but, CANNOT be added/included; as, the 'Question' is NOW "Closed".
The "Power" of, SOME of, the "Moderators" (eg. SOME of 'FamilySearch' "Support" - Personnel) NEEDS to be 'reigned in', at least, "Temporarily", until they get to know the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum; and, also, gain considerable EXPERIENCE, themselves.
I was certainly aware of; and, initially, was not against, the PENDING inclusion of the 'FamilySearch' "Support" - Personnel into the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, well in advance, of it happening.
But ...
That said ...
I was, truly, hoping for; and, expecting, the "Role", of he 'FamilySearch' "Support" - Personnel, in the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, to be MORE of an "Advisory" one, sitting on the 'Side-Lines'; where, "Matters" were 'passed-onto' the 'FamilySearch' "Support" Network, IF; &, WHEN, required; certainly, NOT, this wholesale TAKEN OVER of the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, 'holus-bolus', PUSHING aside, all those, who have worked tirelessly in the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum for a number of YEARS.
Plus, those from of 'FamilySearch' "Support", who are (I presume) "Moderators", are adding 'Answers'; and, then, making THEIR 'Answers'; as, an (and, in some cases, THE) "Accepted Answer"; when, in fact, in MANY cases, their 'Answer' is NOT even an answer at all, to the ORIGINAL 'Question'.
'FamilySearch' "Support" is NOT needed, in each; and, every, matter.
Many of the regular, ordinary, User/Patron, participants in the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum where handling the "Basic" 'Questions' quite well; and, knew when to refer such up to "Support".
Many of those regular, ordinary, User/Patron, participants in the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, are certainly MORE "Experienced", than those, in the "Lower" 'Levels', of 'FamilySearch' "Support" (as, evidenced, now, by some responses from 'FamilySearch' "Support", in the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum).
The "Community.FamilySearch" Forum was ORIGINALLY about, Users/Patrons; HELPING, User/Patrons.
The "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, is NO LONGER, the "Community" Forum.
The, 'So-Called', "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, is NOW, the 'FamilySearch' "Support" Forum.
So MANY of 'FamilySearch' "Support" have ONLY just joined into the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, for the very FISRT time, with "Administrative" Rights; and, yet, have no real idea how the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum has been working.
A true indictment of, the lack of, training; and, expectation, of 'FamilySearch' "Support", being NEW members of the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, with such "Administrative" Rights.
There SHOULD have been, a much more SLOWER process, of the introduction (and, inclusion) of 'FamilySearch' "Support", into the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
Those from 'FamilySearch' "Support", NEEDED, much MORE time to familiarise themselves with the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, rather than being 'thrown in at the deep end'
Just my thoughts.

Sheryl, you probably have seen, as I have, explanations from a couple of moderators or administrators here that an unfortunate and unexpected routine in this program is that when posts are escalated to particular support teams, the program automatically moves the post to that "permission denied" section, close the post, removes the name of the original poster, and sets the comments to zero, and there is absolutely no way to prevent this. Until the program is fixed. Sometimes this is appropriate for topics that really are not discussions but actions for support to take or have privacy issues involved. Sometimes this is crazy.
I would be hopeful that your post was such a good idea that it got escalated to a team that can actually implement it!

@Gordon Collett, the big issue here is there already is a Temple section under Ideas, but I do not have visibility of it despite my FamilySearch account being tied to my membership number and I am a Temple & Family History Consultant.
Moving this discussion to a restricted area and closing me out leaves me with no resolution and there has been no communication from Support as to why it was moved or what the solution is.

Is there? Where has this ever been mentioned?
I have seen also that all my posts that have been escalated are completely gone from my "My Discussions" list. That is just how the program currently works. I hope they get it updated to work better in the near future but rewriting major sections of the code will likely take months.

@Gordon Collett. If your question "Is there? Where has this ever been mentioned?" is asking whether there is a Temple Section under Ideas, on my original thread someone posted a screen clip of their visibility on the Ideas section and it did include the Temple section.

I saw that and I'm as positive as I can be, which is somewhat limited since your post has vanished, that that screen shot was of the Temple section under Question and Answers aka Help Center, not a screen shot of the Ideas section and that the person who posted the screen shot misunderstood that you wanted to have that section under Ideas as well.

Engineers are aware of some Members are unable to see the Temple Category, and are working on the issue at this time.

'Thank You', for the information.
Whereas ...
I would humbly venture to suggest that; MANY; Many, many, 'lowly', Users/Patrons of the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, CANNOT, 'see' (or, access) the, (NEW) "Topic", under the "Ideas" Section, being "Temple".
Most likely that, that NEW "Topic", has NOT yet been made accessible, to ALL; as, was the case with the (NEW) "Category", under the "Q and A" Section, being "Temple" ▬ not so long ago.
Just my thoughts.
