My father is 91 and in another state

I would like to do remote interviews and record both sides

i have many of the family photos and would want to hold them up to the camera to identify them and trigger memories

how do I set this up and what is the best service or software for this

You can do that with Zoom. Hold the photos up to your webcam. You can record Zoom meetings. This is a free program.
