Is there a way to recover a deleted album in Memories
I reached my limit in my family album, so I started a second album. I moved some pictures from my first family album into the new 2nd album. Now the first album and all of its contents are gone. I realize they are still in the gallery, but they are all jumbled in with my other photos. I have spent years working on these photos and albums. Is there a way to recover the deleted album>

Dawn, I'm not sure what you mean about reaching your limit in family albums? You can create as many albums as you want in the Gallery and you can add as many photos to each album as you desire. Memories can also be in more than one album. If you have deleted an album for some reason, you will have to recreate it -- and, as you said, the photos are still there in the Gallery.
Although FamilySearch does not have a limit to the number of items you can upload to Memories yet, if an account has more than 5,000 memories, the system can perform slowly. Each person record has a limit of 1,000 memory tags/links in FamilySearch.
Does this answer your question? Hopefully you can recreate the deleted album quickly.

Maurine, I know that I can create as many albums as I want, but. . . this was the problem: I had uploaded 34 new photos into the Gallery, and I tried to add them to my family's album -- D & D Varner. However, it would only add 11 of the 34 new photos. No matter how many times I tried, it would not add all 34 photos to the album. I called and spoke to an Elder McBride and he helped me delete my cookies and my cache, but that didn't work. So he messaged another Family Search worker who told him that I can only upload 1000 photos to any album. My album had 1023 and wouldn't accept any more. So, I created a #2 family album and loaded the photos there. Then I decided I should rename my albums (#1, #2, etc.) In the process of renaming the first album, I accidentally deleted the entire album. I had spent months scanning, uploading, labeling, and reordering those photos. I understand that I will need to recreate it -- which is unfortunate, to say the least. But really -- wouldn't it have been a good idea to give me some kind of pop-up warning box first, such as "Are you sure you want to delete this album?" I get warnings like that everywhere else. It's just horrible that all that work has been wasted. I know the photos are still in the gallery, and it won't take me as long to recreate the album as it did to create it the first time, but it's still time wasted. Time that I wouldn't have to spend if I had been given a warning. I know you are not responsible for this, but is there a way to send a suggestion to the Family Search team, so this doesn't happen to anyone else?

Dawn, sorry you lost your album contents. Hopefully you will be able to use some of the memories gallery filter options to help locate the memories.
When I attempted to delete an album, I did see a warning message

Thank you. I honestly do not remember seeing that warning, but if you saw it then it must have shown up for me, also. I was just distracted and careless. It was my own fault, and I will need to recreate the album. I will certainly be more careful next time.

Note:
deleting an album - does not normally delete the contents of the album
the contents should still exist in the general gallery even if an album is deleted.
