I would like to view some of the pictures and documents attached to individuals. Every time I try to view a document I come up blank. It is the same when I double click on a picture. Is there anyway I can view them?

Just a couple of questions to clarify the situation. . .are you talking about viewing photos and documents on an individual person's Memories page? Are these items that have been contributed by other users? What is your computer operating system and is it up-to-date? What browser are you using and is it up-to-date?

Those questions aside, you should be able to go the Memories tab on a person's profile page and click once on the memory item which will then open in the viewer. In the viewer you have options to make the image larger or smaller and even go to full-screen.

If you are unable to see items you click on in the image viewer, then you might want to check your operating system and browser, clear temporary files and cache, reset FamilySearch cookies and/or switch browsers.

Here is an article about the features of the image viewer:

Here is another article about how to view your ancestors' memories:

Finally, here is an article that will help you with the computer "housekeeping" you may need to do:

If we haven't addressed the problem and it hasn't been completely resolved with this information, please let us know so we can check into the situation further.

    Good luck!
