Hi, would you be able to give us a little more information that would help us find the records that you have found? It sounds like this may be a Catalog error.

@AimeeShramko , you're correct that those records from Washington state are mistakenly labelled as being from Washington, D.C.
Could you please report this from the page of the error. That is, go to the link you posted and look for the feedback button in the lower right hand corner of the screen. This will go directly to the group that is working on this "Explore Historical Images" (Search->Images) feature. Thank you for reporting, and helping to improve accuracy for all who use the site.

Aimee, thank you for the link. I see that these are records for in Explore Images. These are handled a little differently than other problems that are found in FamilySearch.
Notice the "Feedback" button that is at the bottom of the page that contains the marriage record image. We have been asked to use this button to report issues with Explore Images. So, please click the "Feedback" button and report this problem. That will be the most reliable way to get the problem fixed.
I apologize to have you take this additional step, and thank you for your patience.

Yes, absolutely!
If you search in the non-indexed records (Search - Images) for marriage information in Washington DC, (I used the year 1926), you'll instead get records for Washington state, Columbia County - this is true for 9 of the 13 records that I reviewed (I did not review the remaining 4).
Thank you for checking this out.
