Eg Maria Catharina Koopmans (1795-1866) was married to Christiaan Ernst Willemse(1790-1823) on 26/7/1815 and had 2 children. He died in 1823 and she married again to a Johannes Pieterse (1798-1860) in 1824 with a few children.

    Hello AlphinPieters

You can add another spouse directly from your relative or ancestor's page. Here is an article to help you.

How do I add a spouse or partner in Family Tree?

You can then add children to the parents.

How do I add a child to Family Tree? hope this is helpful,

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    FYI

For individuals/persons in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' you can ADD,

    • Spouses: 200
    • Parents: 100
    • Children: 400

    So ...

    That said ...

    Pictorially ...

To add an "Additional" Spouse (ie. in you case a SECOND Husband) ...

Simply, select that "+ Add Spouse" 'Button'/'Link', under "Spouses and Children", in the "Family Members' Section, on an individuals/person "Person/Details" page/screen.

    Add _ Spouse.jpg

For some interesting 'background' reading ...

Here is a "Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch' regarding the "Limits" for individuals/persons:

What are the data limits for people in Family Tree?

    Thanks very much Brett.

My primary Family Tree is in MyHeritage but have found the search engine in FamilySearch very good and thus decided to have a more complete tree in FamilySearch so as to assist others in their research. Thus when it comes to FamilySearch I am a real amateur and will need quite a bit of assistance.

    Thanks again

We were all new once ...

Please feel free to, ask WHATEVER 'Questions' you want.

There are MANY Users/Patrons, with a wealth of experience, only to willing, to provide whatever help/assistance is needed.

    As an aside ...

There are many "Knowledge Articles" in 'FamilySearch' that one can browse that can provide help/assistance.

Those "Knowledge Articles" can be found, by searching, in the "Hep Centre", in 'FamilySearch' ...
