Thank you for responding. If you will not immediately and permanently REMOVE all information about William Clayton Rabe and Marie Lee Matheny I will have no choice but to REPORT YOU to this website and ask that you be forced to do it. Again, it is NOT SAFE to reveal all this PRIVATE information online. As a member of THIS family I do not wish to take any risks with OUR PERSONAL information. Surely even "beginners" in genealogy are aware NEVER to place sensitive information about LIVING PERSONS ONLINE - EVER!

Hi @David Terrell. I totally agree that it is very important to protect the privacy of living people. Sadly, some users make assumptions about whether or not a person is living or deceased when they attach sources in Family Tree, therefore, records are sometimes created as deceased when they are for living individuals.
You can help resolve this issue, which is usually done by mistake and assumption, by going to the person page of the individual who should be changed from deceased to living. As you attempt to click the living radio button, you are given the opportunity to explain how you know the person is living and when you submit that information, a ticket is sent to the department that can change the record to living so that only the person who contributed the record can see it. The following knowledge article from our Help Center can be located if you click the Help icon at the top of a FamilySearch page and then click Help Center in the drop-down page. Type: Dead to Living and the article should generate under the typing field. An additional article about how to determine whether to mark a record as deceased is also available in the results that generate.
Please be assured that FamilySearch does everything that we can to protect the privacy of the living as described in this article that explains that each account keeps records that are marked as living in the "Private Spaces" of the contributor.
Because some of our Historical Records collections include records of living individuals, if a person finds a collection which contains their personal record, they can make a request to have that record blocked at FamilySearch. The records you mentioned which are from Texas Vital records are part of the public domain, but they can be blocked by the individuals who are included in the record. We can only block them at FamilySearch, however, since we have no control over public records at other websites. We no longer use the Contact Us page to make a name removal request, but we invite our guests to create a post here in the Community explaining that you wish to have a record removed from FamilySearch. When your post is located, it will be forwarded to an internal group who will then contact you privately to gather information about the record you wish to have removed.
We now the instructions from our knowledge base will be helpful, and that you will feel more confident regarding our efforts to protect your privacy.

I don't see the question here. Looks like it is a resolved issue. Wm and Marie are deceased and records for Patricia and Beverly are gone. The birth dates for the last 2 are still available in resources from the Texas birth index but that is an issue to take up with Texas who has chosen to publish that information.

Just a further note about privacy concerns. Whilst FamilySearch keeps the actual information about living people in 'Private Space' as explained above, please be aware that by default, the memories you add to FamilySearch (photos and documents) are 'potentially' publicly viewable ( e.g via a google search) so may like to change that setting and ensure any memory you have added for living people are private. Here is some information from the FS Help Centre which explains how to do this...
