Merge needs to be done on a locked record
I know that Charles Cotesworth Pinckney at L4WF-LTG is a locked record so merges/changes can't be done, but CLEARLY Charles Pinckney at K4JC-7LW needs to be merged into L4WF-LTG. If you do even basic studying of the change logs and the underlying change logs of any merges it is easy to see that K4JC-7LW has been around since pre-2012 new.familysearch days and should have been merged in before it was locked. Since I can't do that someone in family search support needs to help with that. From there the 2 Eliza/Elizabeth Lucas records can be merged (MRVS-SPB and GQX8-YR6). The only issue is that Ann Pinckney at MPNQ-CB9 needs to be removed as a child of Charles and Eliza. They did not have an Ann and despite there being a 1996 sealing, this is not a correct relationship. I technically can do the Eliza merges and the Ann detachment, but I want to do it together with the Charles merges which I need your help to do. Thanks.

I would like to forward your question to a specialty team for review and resolution. You will be contacted by that team if they need to gather more informaion and when they have a resolution.

There is no mention of sending a personal message to gather information to Kim so we have sent her a personal message requesting the information that is needed to forward this concern.

Sorry to hear about your issue with a merge which was completed on one of your ancestors. Attached is a link explaining how to undo a merge in family tree.

I'm not sure what is going on here. What happened to the old days of creating a case where you actually get help? It has been over 2 months and I have provided personal information to two different people I can't even confirm I should be providing personal information to, and then I haven't gotten any direct answer. I appreciate that Florida Conch has taken the time to respond but have no idea why I was provided a link on how to undo a merge. I have known how to do that for years and it isn't applicable to my question. Despite my vast experience on FamilySearch Tree I just can't seem to figure out how this new way of "getting help" works.

Plus I already undid the merges long ago that I had originally referenced. The real issue is changes that need to be made to a locked record

@Kim Moore , it appears that what you are asking is to have the two records for Charles merged.
A personal message was sent August 10th requesting some personal information that would allow me to forward your request to the specialty team that can work with information connected to Read Only records, however, you did not respond to that message.
Moderators are FamilySearch Support representatives who can help resolve your concerns, but when we don't receive the information we request it delays our ability to help. We apologize that you still have not had your problem taken care of. Do we have permission to use your Helper Information to assist you? You may respond to this request so that we can try to help.

Yes, I give you permission and sent that info back on July 30 to FloridaConch and I believe I actually did immediately respond to your similar request on Aug 10 too stating that I had already provided all my personal info to FloridaConch because he said he would be sending my case along. It gets confusing when I have 2 different people asking me for all the same personal information, but I have responded right away to everything. In any event, I have already handled the parts I referred to about removing Ann and merging the two Elizas/Elizabeth - I did both of those things back on June 24. The part I can't do that I need help with is that Charles Pinckney at K4JC-7LW needs to be merged into Charles Cotesworth Pickney at L4WF-LTG but the second record is a LOCKED RECORD - NEED FAMILY SEARCH SUPPORT TO ALLOW THE MERGE SOMEHOW.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Kim Moore,
We just checked and your request about the merge, of Charles Cotesworth Pickney and Charles Pickney, has been successfully sent to another department for review.... it may take a while longer before you gets a response as the other team is very busy. They will get to your concern as soon as they can.
