Account deletion

First may I compliment FamilySearch on the wonderful service they do, but sadly due to unforeseen circumstances I will need to leave this site. Can you please let me know how I can delete my FamilySearch account?

You can delete your FamilySearch Account in settings by following the steps in this link:

Just one additional note, any living records you added will be gone when you delete your account, but all deceased records will remain, so if you ever want to come back...it's all there and you'll just have to connect. Remember...FamilySearch will always be free!!

note FamilySearch is totally free - and always will be.

there really is no need to delete your account - even if you wont use it for an extended period of time.

but it is your option.
