Indexing keyword notification

When I sign on to index, I use the Search field on the Find Batches window. I typically search for my home state or specific record type (eg. school) and start with those results. It would be helpful if we could set up an email notification for when new records are added using those same keywords. So for example, if I'm interested in indexing batches related to any type of "school" records, I would get an email when new records like "Australian School Admission Registers" or "Kentucky Colored School Censuses" were added to the system. That way I could see right away that there were records that match my interest that were available for indexing.

If we could choose 2 - 3 different keywords and receive notifications based on those search terms, it would catch my eye and I'd be more likely to respond and jump on to index those records. So maybe add a "Notify me when new records that match these keywords are available" feature?

Thanks,

Mary

I like that idea, Mary. I voted for it. If anyone else likes the idea, please vote for it. Likewise for any idea you like. That increases the likelihood that it will get implemented.
