I cannot find any more information on my great grand mother, Zapopa Garza Davila Curiel 2nd husband

I have been trying since 2016 to find additional information on my famlly.

great grand mother Zapopa Garza Davila Curiel. Suggestions say that she may have had a second husband but I cannot find any information to that fact.

great great grand father Tomas Curiel.

I did my Ancestry DNA and it says I am have some Texas, Mexico, Spain, France, Base and I cannot find anything. I step away and have been helping with indexing to take a break. Please advise

I think a good strategy is to formulate your research query first of all.

How do I write an effective research query? 

Genealogy is really just detective work. Clues lead to more information. When asking a research question, please include as much of the following information as possible: 

• Full name of the ancestor 
• birth date, even if approximate, and place [as much as is known] 
• residence(s) in the US or other country of immigration 
• any details you have on parents, spouse, children, and where they lived 
• known emigration and naturalization details 
• religion 
• anything else that might be helpful, like a known name change 
• which records you have already searched and the results
