duplicate entries within a single image
Is there a general guideline about duplicate entries within a single image? For business directories we only need to index one entry if the names are identical and there is no additional information. What about other types of documents such as a register of births where everything is identical?

Hi Thomas. I don’t know if there are current universal written instructions not to index two (or more) Entries that are identical in every way (I.e. Field-by-Field), and thus exact duplicates for a given image. But two (or more) such identical Entries would serve no useful purpose when it comes down to drawing a Researcher to the image via the FS search engine - one would suffice. And, my experience is that upon submission, the system will delete all but one of an adjacent series of identical Entries - which also tells you that exact duplicates are not needed/wanted. Checking for duplicate non-adjacent Entres would be a more challenging programming task and more resource-intensive, possibly slowing the submission process, or I suspect that they would have done that too.
I tried to look this up on the Help Center, but got an error message, so maybe that resource has a problem right now.

I have an instance in the same image (baptism) where the entries had different ID numbers but all other information was the same.
