For Ocean Arrivals: Does the "arrival place" come from the stamp dated or the"Destined to"?
Ocean arrivals mean that a person is entering a port to get their document stamped. Is it proper/logical to index the port (Vancouver, Halifax, Quebec) in the "arrival place" field? I realize that often there is no arrival stamp on the top of the document and that the person will "inland travel" with the intention to get to their "within Canada" destination (i.e. via train, bus etc.). Does their "inland destination" then become their "arrival place" for the purposes of indexing?
