Not Enough Info to Merge

Hi!

I'm wondering if it's possible to add an option while merging: "Not enough information to merge." The individuals would then behave as if they'd been marked "Not a match." until new information is added to either of them. Then they could show up as possible matches again for a definite "Not a match," or "Merge"?

Or is this too complicated?

Thanks for all the good work!

    Too complicated.

It also doesn't sound very helpful. I merge a lot of obvious duplicates that a previous contributor has dismissed from their view by checking "Not a match".

Actually, on reflection I think if there is not enough information to merge then would there ever be enough information to keep the two PIDs separate?

Also, the present way to deal with these edge cases works: Back out of the merge, dismiss the hint, or work one or both profiles until it becomes clear they should or should not be merged.
