Have an ancestor Gunnor de Crepon with FamilySearch ID of G39Q-HBK. Her father is listed as Unknown Father with FamilySearch ID of KX2S-NWF. Found a "Find A Grave" site Gunnora d'Anjou “Gunnor” de Crêpon de Normandie (936-1031) - Find A Grave Memorial that lists Gunnor's father as Harold Bluetooth. Doing a search on FamilySearch.Org found an entry for Harold Bluetooth, with children that are included in the Find A Grave site. Harold's FamilySearch.org ID is MM6M-VLP. i am using Family Tree Maker 2019, and trying to change the FamilySearch ID from Unknown Father to ID for Harold Bluetooth. Your database needs to be corrected if possible. in any event I need to find a way to change my tree. Thanks.

    Hi Robert

In general terms, you can't change an ID. If you find another person in the database that you believe to be a duplicate, you can do a merge to combine the two records. Here is an article that might help:

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-merge-duplicates-in-family-tree-by-id

However, could I please confirm that MM6M-VLP is the correct ID? When I looked in FamilySearch it indicated that ID had been merged with another person.
