I used to visit the Family History Centre in Ashton under Lyne on a fairly regular basis. I then lived in Rochdale. I now live in Widnes, Cheshire and have resumed my family history. There is no family history centre anywhere near where we live. The nearest is Warrington, but they do not have any film readers. The next is either Liverpool or Birkenhead. Unfortunately due to Covid they are all closed. In any case I am no longer in a position to visit as we have no car. We had to get rid of the car.

We got rid of our car as my husband has been diagnosed with Vascular Dementia and I am unable to leave him, he used to drive me to the centre.

I want to view two reels for Anwoth in Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland- Film 1067972 and 103764181. I wondered if you have people who can view these two films forme - I can pay for the research providing the charges are reasonable. I am really desperate to find any information relating to the familly of my Great Grandmother who was born in Gatehouse of Fleet - Parish of Anwoth.

Csn you please let me know if you are able to help - if so I can provide the names and send you the payment.

Thank you

Michele
