Please Make the Advanced Search Options More Available
I had heard rumors that the reason to use tags on posts was because tags were searchable. However, I could not find any way to do this until someone pointed out that you can search by tags and by a number of other criteria only after doing a search.
The various search bars on the site are just simple searches like this:
It is only after you use one of these that you come to the real Search page
Where you have to option using the grey arrow to open more search criteria:
Would it be possible to always have the grey arrow available or some way, such as a box in the side navigator bar, to go directly to the Search page? It seems a little counterintuitive to only be able to do a real search after searching.
So people clearly see the search options. I think it would be best to have the full search screen open when coming to the Search page rather than hiding it under the grey arrow

Hey @Gordon Collett - we'll soon be updating the search to show the advanced features as part of the search results (you won't need to click the grey arrow anymore). I'll take the request to be able to view advanced features as an option before searching back to the team for discussion.
