Source linker malfunction in case person created without gender
Short: if a new person is created in source linker without a gender, his/her spouse cannot be added in source linker due to a gender mismatch.
The below picture shows that a new person was created with the help of source linker "Benkő Terézia" without gender. Normally, this is totally OK, creating a person with or without gender. However, the next step, when trying to create spouse "P. Szabó József", results an error.
The next step shows when trying to add this new person. If gender is unspecified, it will not let me further. If I specify the gender, the window will disapper and reappear without the previously filled in content. Basically it is a never ending restart of form filling.
Resolution: the gender of the firstly created spouse has to be changed from unspecified to any other gender (in my case: female).
Then the new person can be created successfully.
Suggestion: an error message to show, that sorry, a new person cannot be added to a person with unspecified gender. Otherwise users may never realize, what is wrong with source linker.

FT so often assigns the sex for me so when it doesn't I often accidentally create profiles with sex unknown. I then most go into the profile to set the sex.
If the historical record or context does not give the sex, and the contributor does not select male or female, then the tool could ask.
