My password is not being accepted
My password is not being accepted. I know it is correct and have followed the instructions for a reset but, unfortunately, it is not working. My computer has the most up to date browser.

How frustrating! It is horrible when that happens but should be easy to resolve.
There is a problem with the sign in process that causes the "incorrect username or password" message to appear when you are actually entering the correct credentials. It persists after resetting the password. A password reset doesn't help. This is not an account sync problem.
It is usually a FamilySearch cookie problem. It is distinguishable from an account sync problem because it occurs after you have been able to sign in to the FamilySearch site using the same password (sometimes for years) and, all of a sudden, it doesn't work any more.
To overcome this problem, please delete cookies and temporary files and try to sign in again. The problem should then have been resolved.
Cookies are small pieces of code that FamilySearch and other websites store on your computer. Using cookies allows FamilySearch to customize your experience for you. You can often solve the problems like the following by deleting the cookies stored on your computer:
- Your computer does not respond quickly and efficiently execute your commands.
- Data on FamilySearch displays poorly or not at all.
Steps (website)
- Go to https://familysearch.org/cookies.
- When the Reset your cookies? appears, click Yes.
- (Optional) Reset your cookie preferences, if you do not like the default choice. Instruction are listed in the related articles, below.
Note: This feature only removes FamilySearch cookies from your browser.
Steps (mobile)
The FamilySearch mobile apps do not use cookies.
If, however, you access the FamilySearch.org website on a mobile device through a browser, the cookie preferences are used. You can delete them as described for the website.

HOLA Orr Romero ESPERO ESTO LE PUEDA AYUDAR-
Buena pregunta.
