I have recently reviewed two batches, and when I try to submit them I get an ERROR message. Why?

There are different kinds of error messages. One that has come up recently says "An error has occurred that may affect your ability to use this page. FamilySearch services has been notified" followed by some numbers and a batch number. I think that one means that it is a FamilySearch technical problem and you just keep trying. Maybe wait a day in between efforts to submit.

This is exactly what happened to me. I kept trying to do a quality check and submission which did not work, until on the last day before it expired. Then it worked. Keep trying.

It is a Quality Check software issue. What happens is that when you submit the batch it posts an error message instead of telling you that you have a mistake that needs corrected. To solve this, refresh your page to unfreeze. Find the mistake/s and correct. Go ahead and click to submit again. If you get the same error repeat this process until you correct all errors. At that point it will submit successfully.
