Arthur Frank Collingwood wife Ann/Annie
First, I am new to this, so apologies if I am not following rules / protocol.
I am looking for the surname of my great grandfather's wife (so, my g - grandmother) whose name I only know as Annie / Anne. I have somehow gotten the name Annie Lawton, but have been told this is incorrect. Arthur Frank Palmer Collingwood, born in India about 1883, so his wife, mother of my grandmother Sheila Beatrice Collingwood likely born about the same time, also in India , I have been led to believe.
Any and all assistance is gratefully appreciated.

Hi Kltre, It appears that you have gotten the wife's last name.
It looks like Annie's marriage to Arthur Frank Palmer Collingwood was her second marriage. It appears that Annie was first married to Albert Edward Gentles 11 March 1902 in Calcutta, Bengal, India. You can see the record details page for this marriage by clicking here.
To find more information about Annie's family, you may want to search the FamilySearch historical records. You can do this, having signed into FamilySearch, by clicking Search and selecting, in the drop down menu that appears, Records. You may want to start by searching for Annie Lawton. Knowing that she was born in 1883 in India will narrow your searching. I was able to find, using this type of search, her Christening record . Click here to see my Search Results. Her Christening record is the 5th item down.
You might also want to find Annie's siblings, which you can do using a similar search, but instead of searching for Annie Lawton, let's try just using the last name, Lawton. Then, we go down to Search with a relationship, and enter the father's name (Thomas Henry Lawton) and the mother's name (Edith - we can just use her first name). Again, I tried this search and you can see my Search Results by clicking here. The first 5 items are Thomas Lawton and Edith's children (including Annie).
Finally, for some additional suggesting as you continue your India research, you might want to look at the FamilySearch Research Wiki page, India Genealogy.
I hope this helps. Best of luck as you continuing your search for your family.

There was also a record for the baptism of Arthur Frank Collingwood, which showed the occupation of his father as Bengal Pilot Service. You may be interested in background information, see the FIBIS Fibiwiki page Bengal Pilot Service https://wiki.fibis.org/w/Bengal_Pilot_Service

May I ask for clarification on Annie, please?
on this page https://www.familysearch.org/search/ark:/61903/1:1:FGN1-959
, Edith is listed as married in 1882, whereas on this page https://www.familysearch.org/search/ark:/61903/1:1:FGN1-959
it is listed as 1883
which is correct? I am trying to confirm paternity of Annie Lawton... is her father Lawton, or edith's prior husband listed as either Wortley or Worthey...Any information is appreciated

To me both records display the same date of marriage 11 Oct 1882. However, the URLs you quote appear to be identical, so you would expect the information to be the same.

The two FamilySearch images are from the same microfilm 510871 which is for the period Oct-Dec 1883, part of
Parish register transcripts from the Presidency of Bengal, 1713-1948 https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/143280
However, when you look on Findmypast (pay website) it has some India marriages which have not been transcribed by FamilySearch , and there is a record for a marriage in 1882, including an image.

Unfortunately Findmypast does not seem to have the 1883 marriage. The 1882 marriage was in a Methodist Church, which had a different status to marriage in a Church of England. The 1883 marriage could have been simply a renewal of vows, or perhaps marriage in a Church of England Church.
The fact that FamilySearch has derived two records from the 1883 marriage suggests that perhaps there was reference to the 1882 marriage on the 1883 marriage, so FamilySearch set up two records, although that doesn't explain the differences in name.
I looked at the 1882 image on Findmypast, and I couldn't determine whether the name was Worthey or Wortley,
I think it would be helpful to view the 1883 image from microfilm 510871. Possibly there may even be two images. If you are a LDS church member my understanding is that these records are viewable on your home computer, otherwise you can view at a FamilySearch Family History Centre of a FS Affiliate Library. You could try the Look Up Service through the Family History Library, but if you look at the online form you need to complete, you need the film image number which you don't have, so this service may not be available to you. https://www.familysearch.org/family-history-library/family-history-library-records-look-up-service When I tried to check the form wording I received the message
Form over quota!
This form has exceeded its allocated quota.

Thank you so much for the assistance. All I needed to know is that the marriage happened in 1882, which for me confirms paternity of Annie Lawton.
Your help is so gratefully appreciated!
