How to get birth records from ChurSan Martin de Luiña, I was told church burned down during the war
My grandfather Rufino Pardo was born in Mumayor Spain and baptized at the church San Martin de Luiña in Cudilleros, Spain. He was born August 11, 1867. I am trying to find information about his parents Leonardo Pardo and Deonisa (?Dionisa) Bermudez from the same area. I imagine they were born around 1840 as their eldest daughter , Inocencia Felisa Pardo Bermúdez was born in 1866 and died November 28, 1935. She married a gentleman , Saturno Garcia (born in 1863 in Beiciella ) and lived on a farm La Escalada. They had several children. Two of the boys went to Matanzas Cuba, Jose García Pardo ( born 1887) and Perfecto Garcia Pardo (born 1888). A daughter, Amalia went to Argentina. I have tried to go thru PARES to get copies of birth certificates but after I put in everyone’s information, they texted back nothing was found. Any ideas? I have also tried to check passenger lists and cannot find anything on these relatives.
