less numerous Dutch record hints
I do a lot of research along Dutch lines, which are some of the best-indexed records. Previous to last week, I would usually find many record hints for newly-added Dutch people in the 1800s, especially if they lived into adulthood, married and had several children. Sometimes there would be upwards of 30, which made researching their family quite easy. However, now there are only a few and they are all population registers, which don't contain as much information and are less reliable. The records are still there, but it requires more steps to find them. (I know, spoiled by the ease!)
I've tried using different web browsers on different devices, even dusted off an old laptop, so I think I've eliminated the "cookie problem." I found a thread from 2019 saying that a couple of collections from the Netherlands had to be temporarily removed, and I'm wondering if there is currently a similar issue, although given that I can still find records albeit in a more roundabout method, I don't think this is the case.
Any else having a similar problem, or have a solution?

From my experience as far as hints go, we get served the easy ones at first. This may be the 10% of the total hints available each update when the hints are cleared by us. Then when the hints get updated, it gets more difficult to do sometimes. I think the hints are updated every 3 months when they are cleared. So it is a great idea to do all the hints to clear them to get new hints!
If anyone knows better, please give us an update. Thank you

I am going to move this question to the Search (Historical Records) section where someone may be able to offer a better answer.

We also have a Dutch community page you can go to with this question.
Maybe we can help each other.
