German Marriage Record
I am new to the group and have recently found some records on my Grandma Pahlow's side in Archion. I am attaching a part of my Great Great Grandmothers wedding record. In the first part in gives the birth date and Ferdinand Robert which is my Great Grandfather. I believe the following date (18 May 1854) and possibly the name of his sister. We have no record of her name and I am not sure what the name is. I would appreciate very much any help with what this portion of the record says. Thanks Les

... It is always good to include the identification number of the person in
Family Search Family Tree that you are inquiring about so we can see
the bigger picture ...
It would also be good to have the hole marriage-entry available with the year and headlines of the columns ..
The added text beyond the normal marriage-entry (a "Verhandlung" dated march 18, 1854) "talks" about a son named (at march 2nd) Ferdinand Robert, born Feb 15. 1851 who is not his son but ...

Thanks for the answer. I will include the entire record with this text. You are correct that Ferdinand Robert was not the father. We don't know who the father was. Christian Pinkpank was the stepfather. He married Louise Caroline Pahlow, Robert's mother. He was suppose to have a sister and I was wondering if the two dates below refer to that sister or not?
The record is the third record down. The fifth entry for 1854. Here is the FamilySearch identification number
9NQF-4R1. Thanks for your input. I had no idea what I was doing. I will be able to ask and provide a better question next time. Les

Hi there ... I looked at the data and "cleaned" a few of those red marks signaling to have a look at the places and changed them for the area north-east of my hometown Berlin-Germany. Places that are today near the polish border at the oder river at that time in the middle of Germany ..
You wrote before, that those digital "pictures" of the wedding record are from archion which I myself are not yet an experienced user of and I missed that source in the source tabs of that marriage, the Bride and groom and their in the source mentioned parents ..
Do you know how to create a source in your own source box in familysearch ? You yet provided png.files and dont have touble downloading it from archion and loading it up into familysearch to get help reading it, so I beleive you´re also able to provide a jpeg file thats even better scalable and therefore and in case of that already mentioned "Verhandlung" easier readable ..
Do you also know how to link that source to all of the people in the familytree mentioned in it ?? Do it ..
I also noticed, that this Christian Friedrich Pinkpank was a widower (Wittwer) at his marriage with Luise Caroline Pahlow ... I also changed the relationship of childhood between KND6-K6Q and the groom in that marriage. Would be interesting to look for the childs birth entry in 1851 ..
In that marriage entry you was wondering if the two dates below refer to that sister or not? I do not think so, because the topic beetween the bride and groom ist the already born child and the relationship to the groom ..

@Les Jensen this is a great post! We are so glad you are part of our community - It is a great place to get help and to help others! We have a lot of talented, experienced participants here.
Be sure to review the links at the top of our community page for some great resources - we add new ones as we find them.
We look forward to hearing from you. Most of the time, it is best to "ask a question" - do this by selecting the arrow to the right of "new discussion". Asking a question allows you to accept the answer or let us know you would like more help. (I was able to change this post to a question for you.)
Because my post does not answer the content of your question, I marked it with "no" and so it shows as a rejected answer so that your original post still shows as an open question with no answer.
Sometimes we have to be patient as we wait for a response to come from a volunteer with the needed skill set. It is always good to include the identification number of the person in Family Search Family Tree that you are inquiring about so we can see the bigger picture.
We look forward to your comments and questions.
Enjoy today! Cindy Jarvis

Thank you very much for your help. It provided some good information. I do have Ferdinand Robert Pahlow's baptism record. I will attach it to this note.
If you find anything of interest, let me know. Thank you very much again. Les
