Spam Mail. ACTION REQUIRED to remove.
I have just noticed the 2nd post of spam mail by the same username thanhthuy in the Ideas/ FamilySearch Community
First pointed out by Brett on May 18 on the first post but SPAM STILL REMAINS at time of writing days later.
FamilySearch needs to have a mechanism to REPORT individual posts and also a mechanism for a moderator to review.

Thank you for reporting this. The posts have been deleted.

There certainly seems to be inconsistency in the degree to which moderators monitor posts within the different sections of Community. In many sections, there will be an immediate response from a moderator, but in others there would seem to be little participation or monitoring, at all.
If there are "team meetings" for moderators / admin staff, perhaps it would be a good idea to discuss this subject, to ensure you are all working to the same guidelines. This is far from apparent at present.

As advised in the FIRST aforementioned post that has subsequently "Deleted" / "Removed" ...
Plus ...
That "Flag" Link/Button DID NOT work ...
Neither, SPAM; or, ABUSE ...
All I got when I selected either was that "Pop-Up" (ie. "Modal") 'Window' towards the Bottom 'right-hand-side' of the page/screen ...
There was NO indication that the post was "Flagged".

I must admit that I never consciously noticed the Flag box, probably because it never occurred to me that the Flag box was to REPORT A POST.
Perhaps it is a language difference as I don't live in the USA.

I had considered (ie. only aware of) what that "Flag" ('Mechanism') was; as, I have "Flagged" the odd 'post' or two, on occasion, in the previous version (ie. Platform) of the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum,
I was just so surprised that that FIRST 'post' by 'thanhthuy' took SO LONG to be 'taken down'.
Perhaps ...
IF, that FIRST 'post' by 'thanhthuy' was taken down, 'post haste'; THEN, there may not have been a SECOND 'post' by the User/Patron.
As the "Flag" did not work, I thought that I had addressed my response (ie. concern), to the FIRST 'post' by 'thanhthuy', to (at least) some appropriate "Administrators" in the Forum.
I was so surprised, that my response (ie. concern), to the FIRST 'post' by 'thanhthuy', does not appear to have been considered appropriate/acceptable.
And, in comparison, I am also surprised that your response (ie. concern), to the SECOND 'post' by 'thanhthuy', seems to have been 'actioned', almost, IMMEDIATELY; as, I DID NOT even get to 'see' that SECOND 'post'.
I only hope that, the "Flag" ('Mechanism'), in the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, gets fixed/addressed ASAP.

Referring to my previous post above Brett's last post, , another major reason for me not noticing the Flag box is that it only displays when you are signed in. Mostly when I am browsing posts I an NOT signed in.
I think the Flag box should at least display when you are NOT signed in, as a REMINDER that the post CAN and should be reported even if you then need to sign in to action it.
If someone else has already reported the post, this should result in the Flag button changing in some way and displaying this by saying Reported (or similar) and this should also display when you are not signed in.
As Brett has indicated above, the Flag mechanism does not currently work.
Brett commented that my original post in this topic seemed to get quick attention, but from memory it was certainly not immediate, the spam did remain for a while. Edit: looking at the dates and times of my original post, and that of Mark McLemore, it was almost 24 hours.

@Paul W Appreciate the feedback. This is something we are actively working on.
@Brett . @MaureenE123 Thank you for the added detail. I’ll investigate the issues noted on the flag function.
