US, Louisiana, Orleans Parish—Cemetery Records, 1805–1944[M3WM-X29]

I have come across several records where two spouses are recorded it may say widow of... and husband of.... which one do I record?

    Unfortunately the Project Instructions do not address this. Back when they existed the Basic Indexing Guidelines said that the current or most recent spouse was the one that should be recorded.

    That is what I would.do.

    I agree with J C and would index Dem. BAGUE as his spouse.
