Hello,

I am reviewing a batch of deaths. The indexer has entered not only the death but made separate entries for births from the information in the death entry. What is the proper procedure here? There will be several entries from each item.

Thanks and regards,

Steve

It is always best to share the batch so others can see what you are seeing, and can also read the project instructions, and the field helps. But, unless the instructions tell you to create an entry for each of the events, since it is a death register only the death would have an entry. You would delete the birth entries on the review.

To share a batch, click on the third icon from the right and follow the instructions. Or copy the URL address or the project title and batch code from the top of the screen. The batch code is the letters or numbers in brackets.
