Hello, greetings to all, I am from Peru, but I live in Holland, whenever I try to index I look for lots from my country of origin, but there is always no lot from Peru to index, that's why I give my account to a relative in Peru And then if they send me batches, what is the difference then what can I do?

Welcome Marleni. Thank you for wanting to continue to work on the records from your homeland, and for asking a great question.

The reason you are unable to access the records from Peru is because they are restricted to those living in that area for record quality purposes and it gives people living in the area the opportunity to connect with the records. If you want to index these records, it would be best to request to join a Peruvian group rather than sharing personal information.

Hello Marleni. There are projects that are restricted to certain groups. For instance, I know that there are projects for New Zealand and only the residents of NZ can index and review them. The same may be the case for Peru. It sounds like you have a found a good way though to work with your family to be able to access batches. But, I am sure it isn't very convenient. I wonder if you belonged to their ward or stake indexing group if you would be able to access them yourself. I don't know the answer. I will tag @Heather R Jacobs who may know the answer!
