Here is the link to my batch

The very first entry says the person is white and a male. There is no check mark under slave or free. However at the end of the row it say that Tho. W. Jones is a master. So do I type Tho. W. Jones in the slave owner spot even though there is no indication that the white male is a slave? Do I still enter blank on slave or free and then blank on father's name and then Tho. W. Jones in slave owner spot?

We are not allowed to use screenshots per our agreements with FamilySearch.

I can see the batch. That is quite interesting, and I wonder if Tho Jones is both the father and the master. No mother is listed. In this unusual case, I would index Tho Jones name in the Father fields. You would enter blank on the slave and free since nothing is marked for either column. Of course, you could also follow the instruction: If there is no mark or letter in either column, leave the Father's Name fields and the Slave Owner's name fields blank.
