I find the directions very confusing. Am I supposed to combine the info for bride and groom and index it all on 1 page or keep it separate? If the couple are not on 1 screen -- do I look backward and forward to find their info and combine it?

Thank you for sharing your batch. The directions for this are under the section What To Remember About This Project: Marriage Applications Spanning 2 Images. Clicking on the examples gives you further instructions. So, your image best matches the example: Marriage Applications Spanning 2 Images, Image 2 But, the 1st example fully explains how to index these type of images using the Reference Images.

The indexer was correct to use the right side of Image 1 and capture the information for the bride from the left side of the Image 2. (Everitt-Brown marriage)

On Image 2 they were correct to create one entry for the Closser-Clear wedding, using the brides information from Image 3 to complete it.

On Image 3, the Thomas-Clark marriage application is indexed using Reference Image +1 to complete the entry.

Reference Images are opened using the bottom icon on the vertical toolbar.

It is always good to index a few batches of a project to get a feeling for the collection before beginning to review them.
