How do I add an additional birth record to an individual
I apologize if it's right in front of me but I can't figure out how to add an additional birth record for my great-grandfather. I don't understand why but he's in the church records in Ontario, Canada and also in the State of Michigan records for the City of Detroit.
I think the Canada one is the right one but I think both should be attached to his person.
Thanks for any help.

You can quite easily add multiple birth records / sources, but you should not.** Obviously, there is only one date and place where and when he was born, which should be the one shown in the Vitals section on his person page.
I do see your difficulty here, but if you are completely sure of the details, you should delete the existing input(s) and remove any sources that you are sure relate to another individual - probably of similar identity.
Of course it is just possible he was born in Detroit and baptised / christened in Ontario. There are separate fields for the birth and christening events, so the "church" record should probably be inputted in the "Christening" one and the state / civil one under "Birth".
Only you can decide (possibly with the help of others, if you are willing to share the ID of the person concerned) if these two records truly do relate to your great-grandfather, or you should remove the information that is not likely to apply to him.
(** Sometimes users will add multiple sources - say for birth or census records - in a hope that one or two of them must be relevant to that individual. Whilst this might be tempting, it is wrong - and stops the ability of another user to attach such sources directly to the individual to whom they actually do relate. So, one should only attach sources if convinced they do relate to that ID.)
