please help ! What am I doing wrong? Whenever I select a batch to transcribe I only get 1 image, with either 2 entries for a marriage and 16 entries for a double page of baptisms. Is this correct?? Surely a 'batch' would consist of more than just one image? I cannot see an icon to clock for 'next image' if there should be one.

Correct - you found your answer to the number of images: 1 of 1. Some projects will have more images (1 of 5 is pretty standard). The projects often have a preset number of entries (1 of 16 or 1 of 2 or even 1 of 300). Once you have indexed everything on the image, you have to delete the unused entries to get the batch to submit. To do that, click on the trash can icon, select "all blank entries", and click delete.

Good luck and keep asking questions - we all were beginners once. ;)

..I think I've found the reason, The batches I've opened so far - and as I am new to this, that is only 3! ALL have been ' 1 of 1 image' so I conclude that there aren't more images to transcribe. Apologies for what may have seemed a stupid question but as I say I'm still finding my feet on here ! ;-)
