if you can't read a name and there is no other information about that person should I index it?

In this batch (I think its a monthly roster roller) there is a name (the 5 to last on the page) that I can't read and it has no enlistment date or military info or number. so my question is, should I index this name or should I not.

thank you!

Hi Elaina Dixie! I can't open the batch, but, if you can't read the name then you can't index it. I'm going give you a couple of tricks in case you haven't tried them yet to see if they help in reading the name.

On the vertical toolbar that is on the image window you can click the third icon down (Tools). Then you can click on the bottom icon and adjust the image. Sometimes by doing this some of the letters pop-out. The other tool, the third one down, inverts the image and turns it into a negative which sometimes makes it easier to see.
