BACKGROUND:
.
I have recently been working on a Couple; and, in particular, the Wife, where the "Memorial" Plaque on her Grave, has the words inscribed ...
"π ππ πππ πππ πππ πππππππππ, πππ πππ ππππππ ππ ππππ"
She was a "Nurse".
.
Researching 'Trees' on OTHER 'On-Line' Websites, I found recorded that she may have had, at least, ONE ( Actual ) "Stillborn" Child.
And, one of those 'Trees' included a "Reference Number" for a "Death Registration" of the "Stillborn' Child.
.
I checked, the 'On-Line' Search facility, of the "Registry for Birth; Deaths; and, Marriages", for the particular 'State' in the Country ( in fact, my local State; and, my Country ), in question, and, I surprising found, that "Stillborn" Births/Deaths (whether, in fact, either, is the case) were recorded in, BOTH, (ie. dually); as, "Birth Registrations"; and, "Death Registrations", all-be-it; as, "Stillborn", past a certain 'Time' period.
.
And, in the case of the particular Child in question, in a Year when that "Stillbirth" was recorded (1936), I found that there were, in fact, some Seven (x7) "Stillborn" Births, with the SAME 'Family Name' / 'Surname', with different Parents, in different 'Registration Districts'.
.
Of those, Seven (x7) "Stillborn" Births, NONE had "Given" Names; EXCEPT, that they ALL has the 'Word' of "Stillborn" in the "Given" Name 'Field'; and, that some ALSO had the 'Word' of, either, "Male"; or, "Female", alongside (ie. after) the 'Word' of "Stillborn", in the "Given" Name 'Field'. Whereas, some had NOTHING alongside (ie. after) the 'Word' of "Stillborn".
.
In the 'On-Line' Search facility, of the "Registry for Birth; Deaths; and, Marriages", for the particular 'State' in the Country, in question, there is NO specific "Indicator", for the "Gender", of a Child (ie. a "Birth Registration). Sometimes there is an "Avatar" of, either, a "Male"; or, a "Female", associated with a Record. Whereas, there is often, a NEUTRAL "Avatar".
.
I contacted the particular "Registry for Birth; Deaths; and, Marriages"; and, was advised that the "Gender" of a "Stillborn" Birth IS "Recorded" (obviously, if known) on the Registration; but, depending on the way the Record is "Transferred" to the 'On-Line' Search facility, the "Gender", DOES NOT, 'always come across'.
.
At the time of contact, I also asked the "Registry for Birth; Deaths; and, Marriages", if they could simply advise me of the "Gender", of the "Stillborn" Birth, of the Child in question; but, was advised that UNFORTUNATELY that they could NOT; and, that I would HAVE to PURCHASE a copy of the "Birth Registrations".
.
Due to limited funds, I am NOT able to PURCHASE a copies of the MANY, "Birth"; "Death" and, "Marriage", Registrations, pertaining to my Ancestors and Extended Family.
.
IF, later, another User/Patron (or, even myself) does have (or, finds) the necessary "Funds" to "Purchase" the, "Birth"; and, "Death", Registrations, to establish the "Gender", for the "Stillborn' Child, who I "Created" and have been working on; THEN, that is fine.
.
But, NOT, being able to "Dismiss" a ('So-Called') DATA ERROR, in the circumstance, of a "Stillborn' Child, is to say, in the least, very "Disconcerting" and "Disappointing".
.
So ...
That said ...
.
SUGGESTED ENHANCEMENT REQUEST
.
As, "Temple" Work is NOT an issue for "Stillborn" Children ...,
.
I, hereby, formally suggest (and request), the enhancement of, the REMOVAL of, the evoking of a "Data Error", for "Stillborn" Children, where the "Gender" is UNKNOWN; and, instead, such being made a simple "Research Suggestion", that can easily be "Dismissed", if so desired; but, the ππππ for the case of "Stillborn" Children.
.
'Thank You' in advance.
.
Submitted for your, information; attention; and, consideration.
.
Kind Regards,
MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU IN THIS IMPORTANT WORK.
Yours faithfully,
Brett
