detach family tree from mine
There are at least 2 Beula (Beulah Osbourn(e) Osbourn) Osborn(e) born and died in Michigan about 1883 +/- my and 2 married to Frank Linck. I have incorrectly attached the incorrect family tree to mine and cannot figure out how to detach that family tree from Mine so I can input the correct information for my family.
9X-G7-CRG and 9W3N-XPS there is a marriage application for Ohio marriages - but my grandparents were actually married in Michigan - I have copies of Marriage Certificate and birth / death records for both Orlando Paul Dishong L8RS-T48 and Mertle Blanche Linck G9XM-KP5 available and attached in my memories.
Help please I have some cognitive impairments and just cannot understand the directions. thank you all Diane C Webb Marotta

Hello @ChristineMarotta
Thank you for the question.
😊I think this one is your Beulah: The second Beulah Osborn is LKR5-JVM born 1883 in Michigan. Beulah Osborn LKR5-JVM parents are Sidney Osborn and Ellen Bridges. Marriage date to Frank L. Linck 17 Jan 1906 with source for Frank S. Linck G4QZ-9CJ, born in Michigan 1879. No children attached. And Frank S. Linck has no parents attached.
So if the above is your Beulah and Frank, you should link Myrtle B Linck G9XM-KP5 to them. You can delete Myrtle B Linck G9XM-KP5 from the parents to whom she is linked:
Here are the steps for removing or replacing a child in a family using Family Tree on the FamilySearch.org website:
First save Myrtle B linck's ID G9XM-KP5. Write it somewhere.
Then:
- While signed in to FamilySearch.org, click Family Tree.
- Navigate to the parents of Myrtle B Linck G9XM-KP5, the person page of the child with the incorrect parents.
- If the Details section is not open, click the Details tab.
- Scroll to the Family Members section.
- Under Parents and Siblings, find the child's name, and click the Edit icon by the child's name.
- I think both of the parents are incorrect, right? so continue: If both are incorrect, click the pencil next to Myrtle's name. Then click Remove or Replace next to the child from both parents.
- A Remove or Replace box appears. Click the check box to verify that you reviewed the relationships, sources, and notes. Then click Save.
(You saved the Myrtle B Linck ID G9XM-KP5)
Next Go to either Beulah Osborn LKR5-JVM or Frank S. Linck G4QZ-9CJ.
Go down to Family Members.
- Click on Children then Click on Add Child.
- In the Add Child window you can choose to ad By ID Number, which you have saved. Myrtle B linck's ID G9XM-KP5.
- Finish our the adding of child and give reasons and click save.
There is a marriage license on ancestry.com citing Orlando P Dishong age 22 groom, Myrtle B Linck age 21 bride. With parents listed. With Frank's last name Linck.
Ancestry wedding Certificate for Orlando P. Dishong and Myrtle B. Linck.
SOME OF MY RESEARCH. I don't know if this last information will be helpful.
I see the two Beulah Osborns.
One is Beulah Osborn 9W3N-XPS born 1843 , no marriage information; attached to Frank Michael Link 9XG7-CRG born 1883. Beulah Osborn 9W3N-XPS has John C. Osborn and Amanda Chestnut as parents. They have a child Myrtle B Linck G9XM-KP5 born 1917 in Reese, Tuscola, Michigan, United States.
This Beulah Osborn is also married to Percy Moreman Sr. and they have 8 children in Family Tree.
I'm wondering if Beulah Osborn born 1843 9W3N-XPS, is the one that was attached to Frank Michael Link born 1883 9XG7-CRG by mistake? The sources for this Beulah are about a Beluh Moreman born 1887. Beulah Osborn born 1843 9W3N-XPS is attached to Frank Michael Link born 1883 is probably not a good link because of the age difference. And Beulah Osborn born 1843 would be too old to have a daughter Myrtle B. Linck in 1915.
Myrtle B Linck G9XM-KP5
Oh wow. I just found another Beulah Osborn: Beulah Maude Osborn 96YG-WB8. You may want to take a look. She is married to a Frank Linck.
Please let us know if this is a help and if you have any other questions or observations about what I've posted in this answer.
