Family Quest

I was given a set of data for my wife's family. It is in .aqz format. I have been told that I should be able to open it using Family Quest. I have been unsuccessful at downloading Family Quest. Are there any secrets to doing this? Or is there another option?

    The aqz format is used by Ancestral Quest. It is a stand alone genealogy program that can be found on FamilySearch in the Solutions Gallery. It is found in the Family tree Management section in the gallery. There is a free version and a paid version.

    We hope this is useful to you.

    My Ancestral Quest AQ16 setup download gets blocked. I can't get it loaded in to my computer.

    Perhaps Ancestral Quest has a support line, where you can obtain advice on the problems you are encountering. Otherwise, an AQ user might be able to assist you here.

    Question - Your recent Oct 21 2021 webinar on Organizing Your Genealogy is not on your webinar class listing and I would like to view. It was a very comprehensive webinar on all aspects of organizing. How can I access the class?

    @Mel R

    FYI

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Unfortunately, you have submitted your post/question; as, an "Addendum", to a TOTALLY "Unrelated" PREVIOUS post, in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    Can I humbly suggest, that you consider resubmitting this post/question of your; as, a NEW separate (and, standalone) post (entity) in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    And, I would humbly suggest, that a more appropriate 'Category' would be "Other":

    "Q and A" Section:

    'Category' = OTHER

    Home > Help Center Categories > Other

    Other

    https://community.familysearch.org/en/categories/othersupport

    https://community.familysearch.org/en/categories/othersupport

    Do not worry ...

    You are not alone ...

    The "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, is NEW to, MANY; Many; many, Users/Patrons.

    It is often, hard to work out both, HOW; and, WHERE, to submit a post/question in the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum - even, for those of us who have been in the Forum for a number of Years.

    Good Luck

    I hope this helps, somewhat.

    Brett

    Attention: Administration @System (and, @Mark McLemore ) for your attention.

    Its 'Brett' again ...

    I just took a 'look' at the 'FamilySearch' "Research Wiki" ...

    It would appear, that the "Webinar", of "Organizing Your Genealogy (Beginner)", on 21 October 2021, in fact, was, on the "List" of "Family History Library Classes and Webinars", in TWO (x2) places.
