Why is the home page for a specific group different when accessed in different ways?

When I access a specific group either by searching from the white search bar at the top of the Community page, or through the groups and then my groups to locate the specific group I want (in this case Germany), the home page is identical, but when I access the Germany group through the My Feeds tab, it is different? In the first instance, the home page shows me the links to online websites across the top of the page and has a list of announcements and upcoming events before beginning the discussions. In the second instance, the page shows all of the questions that have been posted, but doesn't show the links across the top (you have to access them through the "View All" link at the bottom of the page) and doesn't have any of the announcements or upcoming events. It does show you the entire question that has been posted rather than only the title of the question as in the first instant. It would be nice if both things could be incorporated into the group's home page.
