keep seeing people putting the word Rev in prefix is this correct

keep seeing Rev in the prefix spot is this correct

    Yes, Rev is a Title, but is also a Prefix (comes before a name) - like Dr., Mr., Sir. Likewise, as in John Smith Jr, Jr is a Title, but it is also a Suffix (comes after a name) - like 2nd, or III, or Esq. or Sr.
