Quebec baptismal record deciphering
Hi! I am trying to decipher a few words in the baptism record for M. Marguerite Hot (image 305, bottom left page, 2nd record from the bottom) https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-899Q-SJ18?i=304&cc=1321742
I am trying to decipher the few words after "le parrain a ete Jacques Huppe garcon" to try to determine Jacques Huppe's relationship to the child. Can anyone help?
I've attached a jpg of the enlarged record in case that helps.
Thanks!
Carol

@Carol Brunnert I would like to refer you to the Canada Community as some there might be able to read French and I lack that language. I have included the link in this message. Good luck and I hope you find the help you are seeking. Canada ~ Events & Research

@Carol Brunnert Click on the link that Shannon posted to you (the blue Canada Events & Research) and then click on Join and then you can post the question. Also you can do Google Translate. Do a search for Google Translate and it will come right up. Put in the language, which would be French, and put those words and it will translate it for you in the box next to that box which says "English". It is a real easy way to get the answer you would like quickly.

Thank you. How do I post a question there?

Thanks @Anderson, Linda Lee . I've already joined the Canada community. Also, I'm not looking for a translation of French (which I can do), but trying to figure out what the words are because they are a little illegible.
Appreciate the help!
Carol
